Journalistic contributions
From 2010 to 2017, I contributed to this London-based magazine aimed at Creole-culture regions worldwide—specifically Louisiana (Cajun culture in America) and the British West Indies (English-speaking Caribbean islands). Since the founder of “KREOL Mag” is of Seychellois origin, living in the UK, she had no correspondent in Mauritius and rarely covered our island’s best talents. I was therefore commissioned to write various portraits of our greatest artists, especially those with a universal appeal. This premium-quality, English-language magazine, is well worth discovering!

From 2017 to 2022, I collaborated with “MOZAIK” magazine (Reunion Island). This bilingual online cultural portal features a free magazine available for digital download. Originally, it was also sold in a print edition as an "art book". It represents the most ambitious initiative promoting the arts and culture as a whole in the entire Indian Ocean region — broadly defined — spanning from Kenya to South Africa and from India to Australia. During the pre- and post-COVID years, I interviewed artists and wrote articles about painters, musicians, and authors from these various countries. As part of efforts to promote the immense heritage left by the de Chazal family in our islands (Mauritius, Madagascar), I wrote a tribute to the superb book “L’ECHO DE LEUR NOM” (The Echo of their name), published in 2021 and written by Jean-Pierre de Chazal.
